Can You Look at Both Cards in Blackjack?

Answering this question is a little more complicated than it seems at first. To answer it, you must first understand how blackjack is played.

In most games, each player is dealt two cards face down (one card face up). The object of the game is to make as many total points as possible by adding up the value of the cards in your hand (including any wild cards) and comparing that amount to the dealer’s point total.

In blackjack, you are allowed to look at both of your cards before making your decision. However, if you are playing with a conventional 52-card deck, you are only allowed to look at the lower half of your cards-the Ace through 10.

If you are playing with a joker (a card that has no numerical value), you are allowed to look at all of your cards.

So, can you look at both cards in blackjack? In most cases, the answer is yes. However, there are some rules that vary from casino to casino.

So it is important to consult with the personnel at the table before making your decision.
