Did They Really Do Russian Roulette in Vietnam?

Russian roulette is a game in which players put a round, numbered cartridge into a gun and pull the trigger. If the round is fired and it enters the barrel backwards, then the player is automatically out of the game. In Vietnam, rumors circulated that Russian roulette was played as a form of torture in prisons. It was said that prisoners were forced to play the game with loaded guns and if they lost, they would be killed.

No concrete evidence has been found to support these claims, but they continue to circulate nonetheless. Whether or not Russian roulette was actually used as torture in Vietnam is unknown, but it’s one of the most famous stories about the game.
