Do Blackjack Dealers Go to School?

There is no definitive answer to this question as it largely depends on the dealer’s chosen career path. However, according to a study by the University of Nevada, almost half of blackjack dealers do not have a degree in gambling or mathematics.

This lack of formal education can lead to difficulties reading players and making informed decisions about card plays.

Interestingly, dealers who have studied math and gambling may have an advantage over those who have not. They are better able to understand the odds involved in Blackjack, as well as how to apply basic strategy in order to achieve favorable results.

However, even the most educated blackjack dealers cannot guarantee consistent success over time. The key to becoming a successful blackjack dealer is dedication and patience, two traits that are often lacking in those who pursue this career path without formal training.
