Do Stones Have Slots?

When most people think of stones, they likely picture a smooth, round object. However, stones can also come in a variety of shapes and sizes, with some containing small openings. So, does this mean that stones have slots

The answer to this question is somewhat complicated. While some stones do contain small openings, this is not always the case.

In fact, according to some experts, the majority of stones do not have slots.

However, there are a few exceptions to this rule. For example, some types of sandstone and quartzite contain small holes or slots that allow water and other minerals to seep through them.

Additionally, some gemstones – such as turquoise – are often found with small holes or slots located near their centers.

So while the answer to the question of whether stones have slots is somewhat complicated, the reality is that most stones do not have them.
