Do Vegas Casinos Allow Surrender in Blackjack?

There is no universal answer to this question as the rules and regulations governing surrender in blackjack vary from casino to casino. However, in general, most Vegas casinos do not allow players to surrender without getting a special deal from the dealer.

In some cases, casinos will give players the opportunity to “split” their hand (surrender half of their original hand) in order to receive a better deal from the dealer. In other cases, casinos may offer a “free hit” or some other form of consolation prize for surrendering.

Ultimately, the decision whether or not to surrender is up to the player. However, it is generally advisable to play conservatively and only surrender if you are confident that you will be able to improve your chances of winning by doing so.
