Do You Hit a 12 Against a 2 in Blackjack?

If you are playing blackjack in a casino, there is one basic strategy that you should always stick to: play conservatively. This means that you should always keep your cards close to your chest, and only risk what you can afford to lose.

However, there is one exception to this rule: if you are playing against a 2 card hand, you may occasionally be allowed to “hit” a 12 against a 2. This happens when the dealer has a face card (2, 3, or 4) showing and one of your cards is an ace.

In this case, you can hit the table with your ace, hoping to get the other player to bust.

However, it is important to remember that hitting a 12 against a 2 is a risky proposition. If the other player has a better hand, he or she may be able to beat you at your own game.

So be sure to weigh the risks before you decide to hit.
