Ho-Chunk’s history with blackjack goes back to the early 1800s when Native Americans in Wisconsin were playing the game. Ho-Chunk elders passed down their knowledge of the game to their children and grandchildren, which ensured that the game would be played by future generations. In 2004, a Ho-Chunk blackjack team won the World Series of Blackjack. This success helped to increase interest in the game among Ho-Chunk people and led to more tournaments being held in the tribe’s casinos.
As a result, it is now generally accepted that Ho-Chunk has a well-developed blackjack strategy. However, there is no definitive answer as to whether or not Ho-Chunk has mastered the game – this remains a matter of debate.
