Some casinos allow a “dealer hit”, which is when the dealer instead of having a face down card, has a face up card that matches one of the player’s cards. In this case, if the player hits, they receive the value of their hand and any additional funds in the bank.
Though statistically it is rare for a dealer hit to happen, it can be advantageous for the player if done correctly. If done incorrectly though, it can lead to an unfair advantage for the dealer as they have already revealed their hand.
