The objective of the game is to beat the other players, or “tournament participants” in hands. Tournaments are typically divided into stages, where players compete against each other in order to progress to the next stage. .
The first stage is “pre-flop,” where players make their initial bets. Flop is followed by “flop turn,” “flop river,” and “pot.” Pot is the final round of betting and determines who wins the hand. After pot, there may be a “tournament final” or a “final table.
” If there is a tournament final, then the winner is determined by a best out of three match play format. If there is not a tournament final, then the player with the highest standing at the end of the event (or in case of a tie at that point) wins.
