How Do Dealers Cheat in Blackjack?

Blackjack is a popular casino game that pits the house against the player. To win, the player must beat the dealer’s hand by either getting a higher card than the dealer or counting cards to achieve a total of 21.

However, there are ways that dealers can cheat the player.

One way dealers can cheat is by intentionally allowing the player to lose. For example, if the dealer has a 10 and the player has a 5, the dealer might let the 5 go without counting it as a loss, which would give the player an even less chance of beating their hand.

Another way dealers can cheat is by deliberately giving favorable cards to the player. For example, if the dealer has an Ace and the player has a 2, the dealer might give them a 2 instead of an Ace so that their hand would be even less likely to beat 21.

Finally, dealers can also cheat by counting cards improperly. For example, if the dealer sees that there are only 10 cards left in the deck but thinks there are still at least two cards left in the deck, they might falsely count as having dealt one more card than there actually are so that their hand would be more likely to beat 21.
