Technology slots are special slots in starship design that can be used to install specific pieces of technology. They can be found on the bottom right-hand side of the ship design window, and they are color-coded according to their function: blue for weapons, green for engines, and yellow for shields.
To add a technology slot to your starship design, click on the blue slot icon, select the type of slot you want to add (for example, weapons), and then select the technology you want to install. You can then choose which modules or components will go into that slot.
When you’re finished, click on the “Add Slot” button at the bottom of the window to save your ship design. You can then preview your ship by clicking on the “Preview” button in the lower-right corner of the window.
If you want to change any of the settings in your ship design, such as the location or type of slot, you can do so by clicking on the “Edit Slot” button and then making your changes.
Finally, when you’re ready to publish your ship design and share it with other players online, click on the “Publish” button in the lower-right corner of the window.
