How Do Poker Chips Work?

Poker chips are small, round pieces of plastic that are used to play Pai Gow and other similar games. The chips are inserted into a machine that prints out a random hand of poker.

Players then place their bets by putting money into the machine and selecting the number of chips they want to bet. The dealer then deals each player a hand of poker, and play begins.

Each chip has a unique serial number that is used to track its ownership. During play, the dealer occasionally turns over some of the chips in order to keep track of the total amount of money that is currently in the pot.

When all of the chips have been turned over, the hand is over and the winner is determined.

If a player loses all of their chips, they are out of the game and must wait until another player voluntarily gives them some chips in order to continue playing. If a player accumulates too many losing hands, their account may be closed and they may not be able to continue playing for awhile.
