How Do You Clean iPhone Ear Slots?

If you own an iPhone, you may have noticed that the earphone jacks are a little dirty. And if you’ve ever tried to clean them, you know that it’s not an easy task.

Luckily, there are a few ways to clean your iPhone ear slots without having to take it apart.

The easiest way is to use a cotton swab. Wet the swab and insert it into the ear slot. Gently push and pull the swab around the inside of the earphone jack.

Be sure to get into all the nooks and crannies. Let the swab dry before plugging in your headphones.

If that doesn’t work, you can use a bit of rubbing alcohol on a microfiber cloth. Wipe down both sides of the earphone jack and let it dry before plugging in your headphones.

Finally, if neither of those solutions work, you may need to take your iPhone apart. Use a q-tip to clean both sides of the connector where the headphone cable attaches.

Make sure to get into all the crevices. Once everything is clean, reattach the connector and test out your headphones.
