If you’ve ever wanted to delete game slots on your console, there are a few different ways to go about it. Depending on the console, deleting game slots may require a firmware update or a physical removal and re-installation of the console.
The methods for deleting game slots for each console are as follows:
Xbox One:
To delete game slots on the Xbox One, you will first need to update your console to the latest software. After updating, head to the System Settings menu and select Game & Entertainment. Under “Game Mode,” select either “Single Player” or “Public Play.
” Under “Game Slots,” select the desired game slot and press A/B/X/Y to select “Delete.” Once selected, press Y/A to confirm and your game slot will be deleted.
PS4:
To delete game slots on the PS4, head to the PlayStation app and sign in. From there, select “Settings” and then “System Settings.
” Under “System Settings,” select “Storage” and then select the desired game slot. Under “Game System Storage,” press X/Y to delete the selected game slot.
