In the game, the player can interact with the townspeople, who will give them tasks to do. The player can also go outside of the town to explore.
In Animal Crossing: Wild World, players could get outfit slots by going to Tom Nook’s store and buying them. In Animal Crossing: City Folk, players could get outfit slots by trading with other players.
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, players can get outfit slots by collecting furniture from other towns in the game and putting it in their home town.
