How Do You Keep a Running Count in Blackjack?

There are a few different ways to keep a running count in blackjack.

The most common way is to keep track of the total number of cards that have been played so far, and then add 1 for each card that is dealt.

Another way is to keep track of the number of cards that remain in the deck. For example, if the deck has 52 cards, and there are currently 38 cards left in the deck, then the player would count 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 as they are played.

If the player wants to keep track of how many hands they have played so far, they can simply divide the number of hands played by the number of decks in their possession.
