The game of blackjack can be played with either one or two decks of cards. In most casinos, the number of decks used will vary, but generally there are between 21 and 52 cards in each deck.
The rules of blackjack are the same regardless of the number of decks used.
To play blackjack, you will need to place your bet (in dollars) and then select either a single card or a group of cards to be analysed (called hands). You will then receive an updated score based on the cards that were played in that hand.
There are three basic strategies that can be employed when playing blackjack: hit, stand, and double down. Hit means that you hope to receive a higher numerical value (two through ten) on your next card than the current card being displayed.
Stand means that you will not hit or double down until you have received at least two cards that total the same number as your original bet. Double down means that you will place another bet equal to your original bet plus another card (for example, if you had originally bet $10 and received two 10s in a row, you would then place a $20 bet).
