To begin playing blackjack, you will need to place a bet. You can place a bet on either the number of cards that will be drawn, or on whether the dealer willHit or Stand. The bet size depends on your playing budget.
For example, if you have 500 caps available, you can place a bet on either hand (2 cards). If you have 10 caps left, you can only place a bet on whether the dealer will Hit or Stand (1 card).
Once you have placed your bet, the croupier will deal two cards to each player face down. You then turn over your card and decide whether to hit or stand.
If your card matches one of the two cards that was just dealt, then you win the hand and receive your stake back plus any additional winnings that were associated with your bet.
