How Do You Play Classic Blackjack?

Playing classic blackjack is a pretty straightforward process. You start by placing a bet according to the number of decks you are playing with.

After that, you start dealing cards face down to the player to your left. The player to your right also receives a card, but they do not look at it yet. .

Once everyone has received a card, the player on the dealer’s left starts turning over cards until they have five face down. At this point, they must either hit or stand.

If they hit, they get to keep any of the cards that were turned over in addition to any additional chips that were added to their bet. If they stand, then all of the cards turned over are added to their bet and the game continues as normal.

The goal of classic blackjack is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over. This can be done by playing different combination of cards in hopes of getting a better hand than your opponent.

For example, if you are playing against an opponent who is playing a five-card hand, you might try to get a two or three off of them in order to improve your chances of making it 21 without having to resort to hitting.

Once the dealer has turned over their fifth card and both players have had a chance to look at it, the game is over and whoever has the best hand wins.
