Dice poker is a board game for two players that is similar to poker, but with different betting rules. The object of the game is to collect as many pairs of identical dice as possible, and then discard all other dice.
The player with the most pairs at the end of the game wins.
To play dice poker, each player rolls two dice and sets them aside. Then, each player starts betting according to their selected strategy.
For example, a player who wants to try and win as many hands as possible might bet one chip on each hand. Other players might bet based on how many pairs they think they will be able to get.
Once all betting is complete, the players roll the dice and begin playing. The first player to either roll a pair of matching dice or discard all of their dice wins that hand.
If both players roll the same number of matching dice, then the hand is a tie and no winner is determined. The next hand begins play with the next player in rotation.
