How Do You Play Sit and Go Poker?

-In a sit and go poker tournament, each player starts with the same amount of chips, and the object is to win as many hands as possible, either by accumulating chips or by playing against the other players.

-To begin the hand, each player places two chips face down on the table in front of them.
-To play a hand, a player either places one or two chips into the pot, depending on the size of the bet they are making.
-Once all players have placed their chips into the pot, the player who placed the last chip becomes the “button” and begins to draw cards.
-The next player to draw cards is the “small blind” and then the “big blind”. The small blind must put in one chip less than what the big blind has put in; for example, if the big blind puts in five chips and the small blind puts in four chips, then the small blind would put in three chips.
-The first player to bet after everyone has had a chance to draw cards (including the button) becomes “the raiser” and must put in at least one more chip than anyone else before any other action can take place.

-If there is no raiser, then anyone may place a bet.
-Once everyone has put in their bets, play proceeds clockwise around the table.
-Whenever a player plays a hand of poker, they must carefully consider not only their own best interests but also those of their opponents. In order to make sure that everyone has an equal opportunity to win, most poker rules forbid any player from taking advantage of another player. For example, it is generally illegal for one player to have more cards than another player (known as “card counting”), or from revealing any information about their hand before it has been played (known as “bluffing”).
-However, there are some exceptions to these rules; for example, it is permissible for a player to reveal their hole card (the first card that will be revealed after all other cards have been played), provided that this does not give away any information about their hand that could help their opponents improve their chances of winning.
