How Do You Remove a Door Knob With No Screws and No Slots?

Door knobs come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but they all have one thing in common – they use screws and slots to secure them to the door. If you’re missing screws or slots, but don’t have the tools to remove the knob yourself, there are a few options available to you.

Option 1: Use a Drill and Nutdriver

If you have a drill and a nutdriver, you can use them to remove the knob from the door. To do this, first drill a hole through the knob’s bottom surface.

Then, use the nutdriver to unscrew the knob from the door. Be sure to use caution – if the nutdriver slips, it could cause damage to the door surface.

Option 2: Use a Saw

If you don’t have access to a drill or nutdriver, you can use a saw to remove the knob from the door. To do this, first cut a hole through the knob’s bottom surface.

Then, use the saw to cut through the knob’s metal shaft. Be sure to wear safety gear – a saw can easily injure you if it falls onto your head.

Option 3: Use a Hammer and Chisel

If you don’t have access to any of the other options, you can try using a hammer and chisel to remove the knob from the door. To do this, first hammer out one end of the metal shaft.

Then, use the chisel to cut through the metal shaft until it comes loose from the door. Be sure to wear safety gear – a hammer and chisel can easily injure you if they fall onto your head.
