Gene Slots are special objects found throughout Monster Hunter Story 2. By interacting with them, players can unlock special abilities and items for their characters.
To access Gene Slots, players must first find them. Theseobjects can be found in various places around the game, such as treasure chests or enemy drops.
Once found, players must interact withthe slot to activate it.
Once a Gene Slot has been activated, players can use it to unlock special abilities anditems for their characters. Some of these abilities and items are exclusive to certain character classes, while others areavailable to all characters.
Some Gene Slots also have magical properties that can be used to enhance gameplay experience. For example, oneGene Slot can be used to increase the player’s attack power while another Gene Slot can summon a powerful monster to help fight off enemies.
Players can keep track of which Gene Slots have been used and which ones remain unused by viewing the “Slots Used” and “Slots Remaining” meters at the bottom of the screen. If desired, they can also reset all of their Gene Slots at once by using the Reset All Gene Slots option located on the main menu.
