There are a few things you can do to improve your chances of winning at blackjack, no matter how much money you have on the table. First and foremost, never hit on 16 or 17.
These are both high-paying hands, and you’re much more likely to lose if you gamble with them. Instead, stick to low-paying hands like 2 and 3.
Second, always bet the minimum amount possible. This way, even if you lose your initial bet, you’ll still be ahead because you’ve gained another card. And finally, never leave your blackjack table unless you’re absolutely sure you’re going to win.
Even if the odds seem in your favor, there’s always a chance that the dealer will hit a royal flush or another very high-paying hand and give you nothing back. In that case, it’s better to sit tight and hope for the best.
