How Does Double Blackjack Work?

Double blackjack is a two-player card game in which each player is dealt two cards, and must make the best possible decision with both cards. The object of the game is to win as many hands as possible.

The basic strategy for double blackjack is to stay ahead in points (hits) and avoid getting too close to the dealer, who has a high hand (aces or 10s). If you’re ahead in points, you’ll want to keep playing until you get a poor hand, in which case you’ll likely switch to single blackjack.

When playing double blackjack, it’s important to keep track of your total bet and your hand ranking. The total bet is the sum of all your wagers (in cash or chips), plus any insurance you’ve taken.

Your hand ranking is based on the sum of your two cards. For example, if your first card is an 8 and your second card is a 2, you would have a hand ranking of 8-2.
