How Is Fibonacci Used in Roulette?

Fibonacci numbers are used in roulette to help predict which numbers will be drawn next. Roulette wheels have spaces that are numbered 1-36. When the ball falls into one of these spaces, the number above the space that the ball landed in is automatically added to the number already in that space. For example, if the ball falls into space number 12 and the number above space 12 is 2, then the number that is automatically added to space 12 is 4 (since 2 + 1 = 3).

This process is repeated until one of the spaces in the wheel has a number that is not a Fibonacci number. The Fibonacci sequence starts with 0 and 1 (0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34), and continues by adding the two previous numbers together (1 + 1 = 2). So if you see a Fibonacci number on a roulette wheel, it’s likely that this number will be drawn next.
