How Is Russian Roulette Played?

Russian roulette is a game of chance in which a player spins a cylinder containing six bullets. The player then selects one of the bullets to pull out and examines it.

If the bullet is black, the player can continue to play; if it is not, the player loses the game.

In most cases, the odds of winning are about 1 in 36. However, if the player has a “chances” card which doubles their chances of winning (to about 1 in 12), then their odds of winning go up to about 1 in 8.

In both cases, there is still a very small chance of losing even with these increased odds.

There are other variations of Russian roulette that can also increase the player’s chances of winning. For example, some variants have a “double-zero” wheel which means that every time it lands on a number, both bullets from that chamber will be pulled out and used.

This increases the chances that at least one bullet will be black; if both bullets from a chamber are black, then the player has lost the game.
