Bitcoin is a digital asset and a payment system invented by Satoshi Nakamoto. Transactions are verified by network nodes through cryptography and recorded in a public dispersed ledger called a blockchain.
Bitcoin is unique in that there are a finite number of them: 21 million.
To send bitcoins, you first need to find someone who wants to receive them. On the Cash App, type “buy bitcoin” into the search bar and click on the first result. On the Bovada website, click on “Account” in the top left corner and then on “Sending/Receiving” in the top right corner.
On the Cash App, click on “Preferences” in the top left corner and then on “Wallet” in the top right corner. On Bovada, click on “Account” in the top left corner and then on “Send/Receive” in the top right corner.
On both apps, you will be prompted to input your bitcoin address. On Bovada, you will also be prompted to enter your Bovada username and password. Once you have entered your information, click on the “Send Bitcoin” button. On the Cash App, a list of available merchants will be displayed.
Select the merchant from which you want to purchase bitcoins and click on the “Buy Bitcoin” button. The amount of bitcoins that you will be purchasing will be displayed along with their price. Click on the “Confirm Buy” button to finalize your purchase.
After you have completed your purchase, it will take approximately 10 minutes for bitcoins to be transferred from your Cash App wallet to Bovada’s wallet. Once they have been transferred, it will take approximately an hour for them to appear in your Bovada account as pending transactions.
