There are 36 spots in a roulette wheel, numbered from 1 to 36. The ball is placed at one of these spots, and the player then selects one of the other spots on the wheel.
The number that corresponds to the spot the ball is at is then called. If the ball falls on any number besides 1 or 36, the player loses their bet. .
The player can place any number of bets, with each bet consisting of either a single number or a combination of numbers. If the player selects a number that appears twice on the wheel (either as part of a combination or as its own number), they lose their bet on both numbers.
There are only two possible outcomes when playing roulette: either you win or you lose. There are no ties in roulette, so if you select two different numbers and they both come up as winners, you still win your bet on each number.
