How Many Bullets Are in a Gun for Russian Roulette?

Russian roulette is a game of chance in which players place a bet on one of six possible outcomes – black, red, or null. When the game begins, the player spins the roulette wheel and selects one of the six numbers. If that number is exposed as the “bet number,” then that player pulls the trigger on his or her gun and fires one round into the chamber. The player then bets on whether or not their bullet will strike the “plus” or “minus” sign on the wheel, which determines whether their bet pays off.

If their bullet does hit one of those signs, then they win the round – otherwise, they lose. The game continues until someone loses all six rounds. In Russian roulette, there are usually 18 bullets in a gun.
