When a dealer drAWS a card, the chances of being dealt a hand that is not as good as the one you’re holding goes up from about 1 in 36 to about 1 in 20. So if you hold a 10 and the dealer drAWS a 2, your chances of being dealt another 10 go from about 1 in 36 to about 1 in 8.
If you’re holding an Ace, your chances of being dealt another Ace go from about 1 in 12 to about 1 in 4.
