There are 52 cards in a deck of playing cards. This means that a standard 52-card deck contains 2 decks, or 4 decks. When a player is dealt a hand of cards, the first card is placed face down in the middle of the player’s hand.
The second card is then turned over to reveal the rank and suit of the first card. The player then flips over any face up cards in their hand to complete their hand.
Bovada offers two different blackjack games – Basic Blackjack and Rules Blackjack. In Basic Blackjack, each player starts with two hands of cards – one face down and one face up. The object of the game is to either achieve a total score of 21 or beat the dealer’s hand.
If a player beats the dealer’s hand, they receive cash based on the amount of points they earned. If a player doesn’t beat the dealer’s hand, they receive a loss based on the amount of points they earned.
