Fragment Slots
The number of fragment slots that you can have on your device depends on the device type and iPhone model. On an iPhone, the maximum number of fragment slots is 64.
On an iPad, the maximum number of fragment slots is 128. Beyond this, your device will start to experience performance issues.
As far as Android devices are concerned, the maximum number of fragment slots is 256. If you have more than 256 fragments, Android will start to create multiple copies of fragments across different activities and fragments, which can lead to decreased performance and stability.
Keep in mind that the amount of fragments you have doesn’t affect how many activities or fragments you can have on a single screen or how large your screen can be.
