There are a total of eighty levels in scatter slots, which is divided into five stages. There are twenty initial levels, ten levels for each of the game’s five characters, and five bonus levels.
The first stage has the player starting with just a few coins and working their way up to acquiring more. In this stage, the player must win at least three games in a row to move on to the next stage.
The second stage has the player collecting coins while avoiding bombs, and it introduces new characters who can help or hinder the player’s progress.
In the third stage, the bombs start appearing in greater numbers and it becomes more difficult to win. The player must also watch out for bonus icons that offer extra coins and power-UPS.
The fourth stage introduces new obstacles including fireballs that must be avoided, and it becomes even harder to win as the stakes get higher.
In the fifth and final stage, all of the coins are collected and it becomes a race against time to finish the game before time runs out. This is by far the most difficult stage of all as it requires extreme precision and luck to win.
