Animal Crossing is a popular video game series released on the Nintendo GameCube, Wii, and 3DS. The series follows the player character as they move into and live in a small town inhabited by anthropomorphic animals.
In each game, the player must manage their housing, finances, relationships with other residents, and daily routine. In Animal Crossing, players can befriend and romance different animals, who offer advice and assistance on tasks.
There are currently eleven Animal Crossing games released on various platforms. Each game typically offers a different amount of content, with some offering only a few new items while others offer several hundred.
