How Many Spell Slots Do I Have?

When creating your spell book, it is important to be aware of the number of spell slots you have. Each spell must be placed into a specific slot in your book.

If you don’t have the required number of slots to cast a spell, you will not be able to cast it.

Your spell book has a certain number of slots based on your class and level. The higher your level, the more slots you will have.

There are six slots for each class, and three additional slots for each level gained after 1st level. For example, a level 1 paladin would have one slot for each of the following spells: Bless, Cure Wounds, and Divine Favor.

A level 20 paladin would have six slots for each of the following spells: Bless, Cure Wounds, Divine Favor, Remove Curse, and Shield of Faith.
