How Many Spell Slots Does a Sorcerer Have?

A sorcerer has a number of spell slots equal to 10 + her Intelligence modifier. This number increases by 2 for every three points of intelligence above 6, to a maximum of 18.

A sorcerer can use any spell slot she has available, except for spells that are not on her spell list. She must choose which spells to cast from her spell list, and she cannot cast a spell that is not on her list unless she has the requisite spell slot available and can cast the spell without using a material component.

A sorcerer’s caster level is equal to her Intelligence modifier. This modifier applies to all Sorcerer spells, not just spells on the sorcerer’s spell list.
