-Texas Hold ‘Em (TH): The most popular poker game, in which players compete against each other for hands of five cards, with two face-down cards and a live card. Whoever has the best hand at the end of the round wins the pot.

-Poker variants: There are dozens of different poker variants, each with its own rules and strategies. Among the most popular are Omaha High Low, Seven Card Stud, Razz, and Caribbean Stud.
