How Much Are Wings at BlackJack?

Some casinos offer a special deal for players who want to add wings to their BlackJack game. For a small fee, these establishments will give you a set number of wings (usually anywhere from five to fifteen) that you can use as part of your hand. In general, wings are worth about two and a half to three points each, so if you play with five wings, your hand would be worth about seven points.

Some players find this type of deal to be more appealing than simply playing with standard cards. Others find the wings distracting and prefer to play without them.

It’s important to note that if you decide to use wings in your game, you’re essentially taking a risk. If you get dealt an Ace or a King, for example, the value of your hand will be significantly reduced because neither of those cards counts as one point when it comes to BlackJack.

Likewise, if you get dealt multiple spades or clubs, your hand will be worth very little indeed. In other words, if you’re looking to increase your chances of winning at BlackJack, using wings is probably not the best strategy.
