Blackjack is a casino game in which players compete against the dealer by trying to get as close to 21 as possible without going over. In order to win at blackjack, you need to be able to count cards and make smart bets.
There are several different variations of blackjack, but the basic rules are the same. The player starts by placing a bet (either $1, $2, or $3), then drAWS cards until they have two cards. They then decide whether to keep the first card or hit (play another card). If they hit, they add the value of the two cards together and compare it to 21 (the basic rule of blackjack).
If they are higher, they win the bet and receive the difference between their original bet and the total value of their hand. If they are lower, the dealer wins the bet and receives the original bet plus whatever was put in as a stake for that hand.
The house edge in blackjack is typically around 2%. This means that for every 100 hands played, the house will make 2% more on average than what was put in by the player.
So if you wager $10 per hand, and play 100 hands, you would expect to lose $10 on average (based on a 2% house edge). However, if you play 300 hands, you would expect to lose $30 on average (based on a 2% house edge).
