In Vanderhall blackjack, the player is dealt two cards face down, one of which is the “king” card. The player can look at their own card, and then either take the king or put it back in the deck. If the player takes the king, they are given another card to replace it. The player can either keep the new card or put it back in the deck. If the player doesn’t take the king, they lose whatever bet they made on that hand.

There are five different ways to win in blackjack: getting a “natural,” getting a combination of two natural, getting an Ace plus another natural, getting an Ace and two non-naturals, and getting two non-naturals.
The house edge in blackjack is 1.5% for basic rules and 2.0% for hard hand rules.
