How Often Do You Tip Blackjack Dealer?

One of the most popular casino games is blackjack. The game of blackjack is played with a deck of 52 cards and typically has two possible outcomes: the player either gains or loses money depending on the number of cards that are drawn.

There is a standard rule for how to win at blackjack, which is to obtain as close to 21 points as possible by playing any two of the same rank, with aces being worth 1 point, 2s through 10s being worth face value and a king (or any other high card) being worth 10 points. If the player has an Ace, 2, 3, 4 or 5 they can either stand (let the dealer deal again) or double down (put another $2 in the pot).

It is important to remember that when playing blackjack there is no such thing as a “sure thing.” In fact, if you are using basic strategy you are almost guaranteed to lose money in the long run if you play too often at casinos.

That being said, it is also important to remember that casinos reward players who gamble and play more often, so it’s always good to know how much to tip your dealer.

Generally speaking, it is customary in most casinos to tip dealers anywhere from 1/2 cent to $1 per hand played. That means if you play 2 hands and lose $10 each time you would tip your dealer $2 total.

It’s always good etiquette to let your dealer know how much you appreciate their services by tipping them at the end of each hand.
