Is Blackjack Dealt Face Up or Down?

Blackjack is a card game where players try to beat the dealer by playing cards that add up to 21. The game is usually played with a standard deck of 52 cards, but some casinos also offer a “21” deck which has only the two of clubs, two of diamonds, and ace of spades.

In blackjack, the player’s goal is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over. To do this, the player must draw cards until they have four cards that add up to 21.

Once the player has four cards that add up to 21, they are free to put any of those cards into their hand, and the dealer will then replace any other card with a new one from the deck. .

The rules for blackjack are simple: the player must either hit or stand (keep) according to their hand of cards. If the player hits (gets a number that is equal to or greater than the dealer’s number), they are paid according to their bet and receive another card.

If the player stands (doesn’t hit), they receive another card and keep their original bet.

So what happens if the player gets a blackjack? In most cases, this means that they have won money back from the dealer based on their original bet – which can be quite a lot! If it’s a tie (a number equals both players’ hands), then no money changes hands, and both players end up with an identical hand.

While there are variations on blackjack – such as Spanish blackjack – the basic rules outlined here remain unchanged across all variants. So whether you’re playing at a casino that uses standard 52-card decks or at one that offers only “21” decks, you’ll be playing Blackjack face up!.
