Is Craps and Roulette Legal in Florida?

As of January 1, 2009, both craps and roulette are legal in Florida. Previously, only roulette was legal.

The new law allows for licensed gambling establishments to offer both games. Prior to the change, only a few of the state’s licensed casinos offered both games.

The change was made in response to public demand. A recent study showed that almost half of all Floridians have played either craps or roulette at least once in their lives.

Additionally, a 2007 poll found that almost half of Floridians believe that gambling is a form of entertainment that should be allowed in the state.

There are some restrictions on who can play craps and roulette in Florida. These games are not allowed at casinos or other licensed gambling establishments that offer blackjack, poker, or other table games.

They are also not allowed at racetracks or dog tracks. Finally, they are not allowed at bingo halls or other places where non-gambling activities are also conducted.
