Is Irish Poker a Drinking Game?

Irish Poker is not a drinking game, despite the name. The game is a variation of poker, in which players are dealt five cards face down and must discard one card. The goal is to make as few hands as possible with three of the same rank, or two pairs. If a player has two pair, they must keep one and discard the other.

If a player has a high hand, they can either keep all their cards or discard one card and draw another. There are also variants of Irish Poker in which wild cards (jokers) are used.
