Is It Possible to Count Cards in Blackjack?

When playing blackjack, you’ll need to count cards to figure out if you’ve been dealt a winning hand. It’s possible to do this, but it takes some practice and knowledge of the game. Here’s how to count cards in blackjack:

1. Start by counting the number of cards in your hand (including the face card). This is your “base hand”.
2. Then add any additional cards that were added to your hand since the last time you counted (i.e., if you were dealt another card, add 1 to your base hand). This is your “plus hand”.

3. Compare your plus hand to the dealer’s base hand (which should be equal to or one less than your plus hand). If the dealer’s base hand is bigger, then you have a losing hand and should take any appropriate action (e.g., put money in the pot, draw additional cards, etc.). If the dealer’s base hand is smaller, then you have a winning hand and should keep all of your original bets.
