Is Poker or Blackjack More Profitable?

Poker is a game of skill and strategy where players attempt to win hands by bluffing, betting, and making better hands than their opponents. The basic strategy for poker is to try to win as many hands as possible while avoiding losing ones.

Blackjack is a game of chance where the player bets on the number of cards that will be drawn and receives points for each card that matches their wager. The goal of blackjack is to achieve a total score that is as close to 21 as possible.

Based on the results of a study by CardPlayer, poker is more profitable than blackjack. The study looked at data from over 1 million real-money poker hands played over the past two years. Poker players were found to earn an average return on investment (ROI) of 2,293 percent, while blackjack players averaged a ROI of 1,142 percent.

This means that for every $100 that was wagered in poker, the average player earned $2,293 back in profits. Blackjack was also found to be more profitable when played at online casinos rather than land-based casinos.
