Is Roulette a Rigged Game?

There is no definitive answer to this question, as opinions will vary depending on individual beliefs. However, some people believe that roulette is in fact rigged, with the house advantage often being too large for the average player to overcome.

This accusation is based on the fact that roulette is a very random game – and as such, it is impossible for the house to predict which numbers will be drawn. Therefore, it is argued that the casino is able to edge the odds in their favour by randomly selecting certain numbers (known as ‘lotto balls’) which are more likely to result in profitable bets.

As roulette is a relatively new game – and has never been extensively studied or scrutinised – there is currently no clear evidence to support allegations of rigging. However, given the high level of suspicion towards the game among some members of the public, it would be wise for casinos to take these allegations seriously and investigate any potential wrongdoing.
