Is Russian Roulette Risky?

Russian roulette is a gambling game in which a player spins a cylinder to determine which of six chambers contains a gun. If the chamber contains a gun, the player pulls the trigger. If the chamber does not contain a gun, the player keeps the spin. The game is considered risky because if the player picks the wrong chamber, they may end up shooting themselves.

A 2008 study found that out of 1,500 people who played Russian roulette, 4% ended up shooting themselves. Even though Russian roulette is considered risky, it is still a popular game.
