In blackjack, the player only sees their hand and any additional information that is revealed by the dealer, such as what cards have been played so far in the hand.
Video poker players, on the other hand, can see everything that is going on in the game including what cards are still in the deck and what hands other players are currently playing. This information can help players make better decisions about which video poker playing strategy to use.
In practice, however, it is difficult to determine whether video poker is actually better than blackjack. There are several factors that can affect whether video poker is actually better than blackjack including casino location, type of game being played (video poker vs.
slot machines), and bonus features offered by the casino. Ultimately, it is up to each individual player to decide whether video poker or blackjack is their preferred form of gambling.
